Project Heartbeat was born in the quiet hours of the night, when a woman paused outside A CRTV Project — cold, exhausted, and trying to layer women’s underwear to stay warm after someone stole all of her belongings.
Out of nearly twenty stores in the strip, she chose this door. She carried grocery bags full of scraps and a story full of hurt, yet still took responsibility for pain she didn’t cause.
That moment became the heartbeat of this initiative — a reminder that care doesn’t have to be complicated. It just needs to be intentional, warm, and rooted in love.
